Finally! DaCapo Benchmarks-chopin.jar is ready to use... The build process took 57 minutes! Is "metered tail latency" only available for some benchmarks?😫

I expected to see that concurrent GCs cause longer request latencies, however, #ZGC outperformes #PS, #Shenandoah, and #G1 when I decreased the heap size. OpenJDK

#Heapothesys benchmark (AWS Open Source) and some DaCapo Benchmarks (#dacapo_chopin) workloads report response time. Suitable to evaluate the overhead imposed by #concurrent_GCs. I will look into that soon. !! Open to hear any suggestions.

People (companies) need to stop using, and benchmarking, the experimental JDK 11 version of ZGC. It was the first version we released, and we haven't backported any bug fixes or improvements to it. All fixes and enhancements have gone in to the later JDK releases.

I woke up, semi-conscious: saw an announcement for a talk about GCs on Twitter and immediately bought the ticket! Now: the conference is not virtual! It is in Poland! This is a simple story of a student who started her PhD during the pandemic and spent two years of it virtually!
