I will once again ask all in NHS England Workforce, Training and Education ( & RCGP ) to read this tweet from Rob Fleming
Amplifying thoughts of thousands of SAS colleagues in #NHS
Not to mention not enough GP training posts too
What on earth are you all doing pushing lesser qualified posts?
Itโs bias, no?

There is no โbackstoryโ to ending of 2/care NHS Practitioner Health other than (weโre told) - no budget. To remind, it was established following suicide of a psychiatry who also killed her baby and highlighted the barriers doctors have in accessing mental health care.
The NHS Practitioner Health debacle is a reflection of so much that is wrong with NHS England.
A decision made to close a service *before* doing a review and impact assessment.

Huge thanks to our fantastic Tweetchat panel for another valuable conversation on the #SASsix last night. Really rich discussions, both in the panel MS teams meeting and on Twitter/X. Thank you for supporting this work.

Martyn C Stott if you think leadership skills are taught during a training period of an NTN?
You have much to observe and learn yet I am afraid
Itโs not those NTN years which make you a good or bad leader
Itโs ethos and values
Such as not assuming who can and cannot be leaders
Martyn C Stott having sat through many an NTN process?
it really isnโt
To say SAS doctors shouldnโt be leaders ahead of Consultants is mostly nonsense
Unadulterated type of nonsense to be fair
Martyn C Stott This perspective demonstrates a complete misunderstanding of what it means to lead and lead well.
Elitist and exclusionary leadership is not good leadership.
Portfolio tickboxing (which many NTN applications are sadly based on) does not equate to being a good leader either.
