The verdict? Not better than the first film, but just as good. And that is saying something. It's not as unique and original, being a sequel, but it may go deeper in its psychology. The third act is a tearjerker that so many people will relate to. A beautiful, healing film.

Pixar's #InsideOut2 nabbed $13 million from Thursday #boxoffice, the second-biggest Pixar preview behind Incredibles 2 ($18.5m) and the biggest pre-show $$ since Barbie ($22m) last July. Barring a fluke in either direction, it looks like a $95m-$125m Fri-Sun weekend.
