Great News! MARE (MARE- Universidade Évora) and MED - Agriculture, Environment and Development have established a partnership aimed at creating the “Nature Restoration Observatory”. This observatory aims to contribute to the development of effective strategies for the conservation of biodiversity and sustainability




Today was the 1st National Meeting of the Observatory, for Mondego River basin, at Figueira da Foz 🐟 Interreg Atlantic Area MARE Universidade Évora

Over 400 juvenile #lampreys were #PIT tagged to unravel their oceanic life stage. Tagging campaigns in the #Mondego River conducted by DiadSea researchers from CIÊNCIAS ULisboa and UniversidadeÉvora continue, with the first results expected in Spring 2026! Interreg Atlantic Area MARE
