Good news; Longest swim in 30 years for me in the pool….Bad news: now just to do it in open water in the cold in a wetsuit in a better time for an event 🙈

It’s happened again. Stuck on an empty plane at Heathrow airport long after everyone else is off - ‘no staff to get my wheelchair off the plane’. I am SO disappointed with Heathrow Airport as disabled passengers are once again apparently the lowest priority.

National Carers week: Part II it was an appointment day yesterday which means taking annual leave to attend and a day off school (again for Oliver). I’ll do 2-3 of these a month with Oliver and all of the follow up which falls out of them. All part of being a parent carer

Really rough time recently: ambulances, hospital stays, so many horrendous seizures, temporary loss of sight and speech, more loss of mobility and now cardiac problems. Huge thanks to Make-A-Wish UK who sent Oliver a PS5 and games. He’s so so happy. Thank you 😊
