Dehumanization is the fuel that normalizes atrocities. Anti-semites everywhere have long dehumanized Jewish people, and Palestinians have long been dehumanized with the ugly politics of this issue. Responding to dehumanizing with “symmetric” dehumanization is the road to hell.
