Hey all! I've always loved Chibis! I tried drawing them using the Adobe XD pen tool and while it wasn't the most ideal way, it's fun and it does work 😇 Dribbble link - dribbble.com/shots/14507081… #createwithadobexd #design #vectorart #animation #chibiart #vector #adobexd

At the start of 2021, I made a promise that I won't be too self-critical. Although it's taken me longer than a month, I've finally taken a step in the right direction & mustered the courage to publish my first tech blog on DEV Community dev.to/venkyakshaya/t… #DEVCommunity

Back after ages! The never-ending lockdown made my life very monotonous. Designing at work became hectic so I was pursuing other hobbies for a while. instagram.com/sandhya_subram/ Now, Akshaya Venky and I are all set to plan season 3 of #codethisdesign #StayTuned #designtwitter

This turns out to be an important distinction when orgs try to prioritize technical debt over UX design debt. Debt should be prioritized based on cost to the organization and value to the customer. Not by some arbitrary (and incorrect) classification of its nature.

Some days, the most important work a designer does is patiently explain why we’re not putting that text in all caps and centering it in the page.

Your organization is perfectly optimized to produce the user experiences it currently delivers. If you want to improve the user experiences, you’ll need to change the optimizations of your organization. This is the core of a UX strategy.

I recently joined the @medium partner program 🥳 I was amused to find that the blog I wrote 3 years back on 'Rounded corners' is still generating revenue 😇 The story is paywalled now, so here is a link if you're not a member 😄 uxplanet.org/the-rounded-us… #uxdesign #blog #medium

Shashi Lo A because of the rounded corners. Not only is it visually more appealing but according to psychology, our brain tends to think sharp objects are harmful. My friend Sandhya Subramaniyan wrote a neat article where I learnt this. uxplanet.org/the-rounded-us…
