We are half way though the six week block of our after-school running club and the children have been making great progress so far. We've had two hilly trail runs and one speed session at the industrial estate. Fingers crossed the weather continues to hold up. Argyll and Bute Council Education Service

A reminder that parents / carers and pupils from Sandbank Primary school are invited to attend an Internet safety chat this evening (Monday 21st October) between 6.30pm and 7.30pm. The event will be hosted by PC Rachael Wells in the school hall. Argyll and Bute Council Education Service
The children from our ELC received a very special visitor today. PC Wells came along to speak to us about what the police do to keep us all safe. We were even lucky enough to have a look in her police van and have a shot in the prison cell in the back! Police Scotland Argyll & West Dunbartonshire
π π»Mince-pie Monday π We welcomed some residents from Ardnahein care home and members of the community from Cowal Befrienders to our school for a festive singalong and coffee and mince pies. We would like to share some positive news from late last year. We are delighted to announce that we have now achieved our Silver Award for UNICEF's Rights Respecting Schools, which means that children's rights are learned, understood and lived in our school. We are on week 4 of the after school running club and this week we made it to the top of the Camel's Hump, which is about 3 miles in total and a decent climb. What a fabulous bunch of runners. Well done to all! Argyll and Bute Council Education Service
