Joao Pedro spent two seasons straight at Watford being the best player in a poor team performance, so this will all be very familiar to him.

If they're cruising to become the first team ever to win four straight Premier League titles - off the back of a Treble, the logical conclusion is that the last thing English football needs to do is reduce the number of games to make it easier for Man City to win.

If Imran Louza does come back to Watford he deserves to be booed by the entire stadium in the first game.

However he is a naturally good player who can make the club some money, so there's no point in loaning him out every year until he leaves on a free transfer.

One day Everton will be on a firmer financial footing and the fans will demand a manager who finishes in exactly the same position but gets the team passing the ball in prettier triangles.

But until then, let's enjoy Sean Dyche.

Watford giving Sean Dyche his first job and watching him grow into a man who deprives Liverpool of Premier League titles.

Hopefully Tom Cleverley will follow a similar path.

West Ham always sign these crazy overhead kick strikers like Scamacca and Haller who are good for everyone except them

Such a role reversal in Manchester.

If you want the best team, you watch Man City.

If you want all the chaotic ups and downs of being a football fan, you watch Man Utd.

Will Alicia Kearns MP resign following this catastrophic failure in vetting. Given that her narrative is full of talk of protecting the UK from malignant actors.

Far higher proportion of Chelsea fans still at the Emirates at 5-0 down than there were Arsenal fans at 1-0 down to Aston Villa.

British media:

Arsenal 5 Chelsea 0. A new low. Look at those players out there in blue, they're completely lost. The fans pay their hard-earned money and this is what they serve up. It can't go on like this any longer.

Man Utd have to sack Erik ten Hag tonight.

Chelsea aren't helped by the fact Man Utd have the role of the Premier League's chaosball team nailed down.

So all their silliness doesn't really add any value.

I think we might see proper low-ebb, season-over Chelsea here: Petrovic flapping his arms at nobody in particular when the third goal goes in, Cucurella looking aghast at conceding a penalty, one of their giant French centre-backs losing their man at a corner, Caicedo's second…
