wow! you need access to a serial port but you are trapped on a useless busybox shell with no features, no libs and no cross compiler? 'femtocom' will save you! 🔥

Exynos 2400(E9945)Dieshot
X4 L2 2M
A720 L2 1M
A520(2C) 512K
Diesize=10.61x12.95=137.4mm2
The strange core became 2+8
Tomorrow layout an unreleased Tensor Gen3, probably the original Exynos 2300 (or just another design for Tensor Gen3(Mali-RDNA4WGP)

Riscure's Jasper van Woudenberg designed a chip and taped out on Sky130, then decapped it and sniffed the AES keys with a near field probe!

Okay, no French ground troops to my house, otherwise LambdaConcept ECPIX-5 Rev3, test run of my KianV CPU with Enjoy Digital and 110MHz CPU frequency on 440MT/s 512MiB DDR action. Why? I bought it to implement a DDR controller, but very slowly, as BMX has priority. The…

RISC-V assembler is loads of fun. Check out my RISC-V assembler blog for a quick intro to all the core instructions. The next post covering jump and functions has just gone to my sponsors and will be available to everyone next week.🚀

I finally looked up the inventor of the FPGA, Ross Freeman. There is very little information posted about him, but I have found a few stories. Does anyone have any other stories about Ross Freeman?

would you rather have
2x NVIDIA 4090s (~$3000) (~1000W)

or

1x Cheyenne Super Computer (~$3085) (~1.3MW)

nobody else bid on this please i got this

From Facebook: 'This network card could be flipped over depending which bus type the PC had.'

This looks like IBM Micro Channel instead of PCI, and someone mentioned it may be for 3270 emulation - still very cool either way

denying the moon landings is literal brainrot, especially when OTHER COUNTRIES are getting crisp images of leftover Apollo hardware from their own lunar probes.

they have all the incentive to prove us as liars, and yet…

Mad respect to the DSP56300 team who successfully reverse engineered the Motorola DSP 56367 chip and have managed to *fully* emulate it via software.

This is essentially the DSP board for most late mid 2000s virtual analog synthesizers.

I love that tweet. I implemented my first SDRAM controller using a logic analyzer, even before I developed a processor. I used a state machine that writes to, reads from, and tests the memory. I managed to achieve over 100MHz on the ICE40.

「Apple IIで動くのあります?」と、
ちょっと言われてはじめたんでが、
Apple IIeはたぶん動かず。
IIcを3台投入したんですが1台だけ動いたと思ったら、
ACアダプタが原因でした。
1台はドボラーク配列になっていたので戻すことに。
頭がタイムマシン状態で巻き戻ってクラクラしています。

Git update alert, the RISC-V RV32IMA SV32 (MMU) Linux SoC is running with the latest Linux Kernel 6.8.8. I think this is the RISC-V Linux SoC with the newest kernel on Earth. :)

Intel's 8088 processor powered the IBM PC (1981), ensuring the continuing success of the x86 architecture. The PC team selected the 8088 largely because its system bus was similar to the Intel 8085 processor, which the team had used in the now-forgotten Datamaster computer. 1/8
