I think we’ve lost the plot here. We just use the word “analytics” whenever we want to criticize something. “Analytics” is using data to optimize success. Like the Moneyball A’s. MIL is 2nd in baseball in OBP; 5th in K%. Their pitching department is heavily analytics-based.
