There we go! Percy has a cab once more. Paint finish is vastly improved, cab looks more accurate to the original brass kit, and he even has a number. Hopefully that’s the last I have to do on this little green caterpillar. Aside from the cab handrails of course

Never thought the Baking Soda + Super Glue trick would ever come in handy, but it works perfectly for Tri-Ang Scotsman cylinders.

And as if by magic, one pair of dilapidated cylinders suddenly look rather respectable again, and more importantly, functional.

…Why does a Dublo 0-6-0 work so well with a Reidpath shell. ‘Tis one hell of a fluke but I’m going with it until I finish the Essar mechanism.

What happens when you add a Dublo chassis, a hacksaw, a pot of JB Weld and a Reidpath body together? This. This is what happens, and I am a chuffed bunny about it. Don’t ask me what the chassis was originally from, I haven’t a clue, but it works fine for my purposes.

Keeping with the recent Nerf theme I seem to have stumbled I to here, have a random useless trivia fact; The early 25 dart Rampage drums don’t work in a Stampede, because the rear cover fouls the forward face of the trigger guard. …utterly pointless knowledge but hey, enjoy it.
