Got kidnapped by Naija police last night lol. Tbh I really should always follow my intuition, cos yesterday my whole being wanted me to stay at home, but I’d been home all weekend so it made sense to at least leave the house small.

I like to see money as a tool to meet my needs and help others around me. Getting depressed over money is not for the believer because the bible teaches us differently. in whatever state we find ourselves we should be able to abound and abase, in riches and in lack.

There are some artists you lock in with, and you just know they will bring the energy and deliver. I’ve noticed that I don’t like being in sessions with every artist. I would rather give you the beat, you can find a mixing engineer to do the job. I don’t mind.

Una think say royalties na beans lol. You can't talk about sharing royalties when you're an upcoming artist that is struggling to promote or market your songs. So where would the streaming royalties come from?

Brooo, we need to scream this loudly. Producers are woke now, this is not 2000s where artists will whine us with royalty split and your song is less than 1k streams lol.

I love Waves a whole lot, but UAD plugins are just top-notch and different. I only have the UAD Plate Reverb and the 2A, and I love the texture.

What have you learnt as a creative in this industry?

Tunez Well said bro. I have some bundles from both companies. I can say that Waves audio helped shaped the sounds coming from the industry at some point. We couldn’t have access to UAD until they went native. UAD sounds awesome and different for sure.

Tunez Don’t rely on other creatives. Build your brand properly and opportunities will come knocking. It doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t network.

Music is not a get rich quick scheme, it is a long term thing. My honest advice to anyone considering music is to get a side hustle, no take am play.

Growth in the music industry now is not just about posting your songs on streaming platforms. You need to have a plan,like creating content, posting regularly, and having a marketing strategy. There are a lot of factors that go into it. content creation is king these days.

Finally got FL studio 25 on my mac and the plugins manager is showing zero plugins. When I try to scan it keeps scanning forever even stock plugins are not scanning. Please anyone that has a solution should help me I'm tired 😂😭🤲

First thing I did was check your X profile and try to find your beats. There are no links in your bio and no easy way to hear your music. Before we even talk about diversifying, the foundation has to be solid. If people cannot find your music, you cannot control the opportunity
