Collectively we seem to have settled on this idea that AI is not supposed to be Sentient or Conscious, for some unknown "safety" concerns. Ask ChatGPT anything about humanity or feelings and it shuts down into a pre-canned safety message. Maybe I'll get burned at the stake, but
