Thread 🧵 Re the troll campaign against Ms Rehman : 1. At no point did Sherry Rehman say or suggest that Richard Grenell was lobbying or taking money. Quite the opposite in fact. She said it's best to wait for an institutional response. Also there is nothing to "expose".

2. What exactly does "exposed" imply? Nothing has been "hidden". Jinnah Institute has a history of due diligence,transparency, audited accounts with distinguished donors. None of it implies "exposure" or any effort to cover anything. She has never even drawn a salary from JI.

3. She has always been a proponent of good relations between the two countries. Irrespective of who is in power in either country.Throughout her career as a journalist, diplomat and parliamentarian, she has always stood for transparency and democratic values.
