In response to recent security threats both nationally and in the Mahoning Valley, we have met with Salem City Schools to review and strengthen safety protocols for all athletic events. The safety of our players, coaches, officials, and fans remains our highest priority.

Today the Salem Police Department assisted the Columbiana County Drug Task Force with a search warrant at 1158 Unit C. Officers recovered a large quantity of methamphetamine along with materials commonly used in the trafficking of narcotics. This investigation remains ongoing.
