Activists: “Government has no youth. We are tired of the same old faces.” President appoints a youth. Activist: “Please resign” Let’s try be fair kiasi.

In Kenya, when fired from a senior position in Government , they make you an Ambassador or Presidential Economic Adviser! In other countries, to be an Ambassador or Presidential Economic Advisor are prestigious appointments.

All young people who want real change should vie for elective positions. Get yourself out there the Salasya route. FYI every election 40% of politicians lose their seats. Don’t be afraid to throw your name in the mix.

My senior Dr Andrew Suleh MD always reminds us that Kenya doesn’t have a revenue problem but rather an expenditure one. There’s no money for intern doctors, who literally slave away in public facilities, but MPs can get a pay rise as they desire. I mean??

Andrew Githiria MD Exactly Doc, in our peer talks we are asking ourselves, why did Pres. Ruto regime made an agenda fighting innocent medical interns? Makosa ya medical interns ni nini surely to endure all this suffering? The previous regime with its ups&downs never downgraded to such petty fights.

Your friends who don’t help you or agree with your ideologies will not suffer at all. In fact they will thrive. Life is not a Nigerian movie so stop waiting for people to receive karma at your behest.

JaPrado. In my honest view the biggest hurdle to solving the internship crisis is the president himself. I am not getting how cutting medical internship remunerations is an austerity measure yet his splashing millions of tax payers money in mobilising crowds and with MPs getting pay rise.

Dr Abi Mwachi Chair it is a shame our elected leaders, led by the POK are stashing millions in bags and giving them as handouts in rallies yet on the other hand they cut down interns remuneration on "austerity measures claim". Sad times to be Kenyans! When we talk we are labeled "unpatriotic"

Hon. Aden Duale, EGH (@honadenduale) 's Twitter Profile Photo

The Ministry is tackling the internship crisis with urgency, addressing the oversupply of graduates, delayed placements and weak supervision caused by unchecked expansion of training institutions. In partnership with KMPDC and county governments, we are enforcing quality

Hon. Aden Duale, EGH Thank you Waziri for walking the talk. Leadership in action! We can finally admit we got the man needed for MOH crises. We doubted, you said give me time and you proved us wrong. We salute you now 🙌 KMPDU Davji Bhimji Atellah Daktari ya Wanawake

Ahmednasir Abdullahi SC Your lament captures a hard democratic truth: voters often fall in love with theatre and only later discover the cost of the ticket. As Johnson Sakaja’s saga now reminds Nairobi, elections are not beauty contests but due-diligence exercises. Democracy has no warranty card only a
