It has been a bit tricky lately, but happy that I've made some progress on the lore of my world recently. Currently writing about battened sails and how sailing gameplay currently works in the vn :)

Construct 3. It refused to load an official tutorial a few days ago. Now it loads it fine without any changes but refuses to load my main project. 🙄 Highly unlikely I'll use this software again in a game jam...

I won't be submitting Kuday's Laika in time for the #wintervnjam but very glad I gave it a go. I'm very familiar with Construct 3 now, improved pixel art skill & also learned some funky stuff for Ren'py such as weather effects and backend stuff that I can use for my main project.

Really proud of myself yesterday - Had a very full day which went well, then attended a Bard group in the late evening & performed flash fiction and poetry. Had a fantastic response, confidence boosted. Can't wait to do something with #readingaloud and #spokenword soon :)

Attended three big events this week, one storytelling workshop, one spoken word open mic (and got to reconnect with an amazing storyteller I've previously interviewed!) and took part in a local game festival :) Really pushed the boat out but 100% worth it to meet amazing people!
