If you're selling a commodity that's exactly like everyone else makes, then charging by time-sheets make sense. If you're selling a superior product like no one else makes, then charging by time-sheets doesn't make sense. Agencies should consider what time-sheets say about them.

So I work on the client's problem for 3 days and can't come up with anything great. But they're paying by the day. So I stop work and charge them for 3 days and we run average ads. Is that how time-sheets work? Is that why the client came to me?
