Our Reception children dove into the wonders of autumn! We set up a tuff tray filled with crunchy leaves, green moss, pine cones, wood, and conkers. The children loved exploring each item’s texture and used tweezers and magnifying glasses to investigate up close! 🍁🔍

Reception explored the adventure of Cyril and Bruce from The Squirrels Who Squabbled as they ventured through the forest in search of the last pinecone. They investigated their surroundings, experiencing the bouncing, boinging, and plopping of the pinecone along the way!

Year 4 have been learning about tenths as decimals and have been comparing decimals to one decimal place to see which one is bigger. They have used dienes, beads and counters to represent decimal numbers and using the maths language greater than, less than and equal to.
