Glasgow Central Mosque offered tea, coffee and shelter for emergency workers during the Clutha disaster. They opened their doors to vaccinate us during the pandemic. Dreadful, but utterly predictable, to see this vandalism as a result of anti-Muslim hatred being so normalised.

So true. Very little is ever said about the positive contributions of Muslims in our society - these are things that should be celebrated forever. I think it's important not to overstate the actions of a few idiots, but it's a sad reflection of the growing hatred in our country.
