We are born with a seed of dissatisfaction in search of fulfillment. Our heart, even without knowing it, thirsts for the encounter with God and seeks it, many times taking the wrong road. When our dissatisfaction encounters Jesus, the life of grace begins.

Wealth can force us to build walls. Jesus, instead, invites His disciples to transform goods and riches into relationships, because people are worth more than things, they are more valuable than any riches we possess.

God does not love you because you behave well. He loves you, plain and simple. His love is unconditional; it does not depend on you.

John Wooden didn't win his first national title until his 16th season at UCLA. Starbucks didn’t reach store #5 until 13 years into its history. Sam Walton (Walmart) didn’t open his 2nd store until 7 yrs after starting his company. Be persistent. Success takes time.

Being positive doesn’t mean you ignore reality. It means you maintain hope, optimism and faith in order to create a better reality.

Circumstances have no power over you. One day you’re in traffic and it bothers you. The next day you’re in a great mood and it doesn’t. It’s not the traffic. If it was it would always cause the same response. It’s not the event or circumstance. It’s always your state of mind.

You can be both confident and humble. Humble knowing there is a God and it’s not you. Confident knowing you were made in God’s image and He has a plan for your life.
