Big moment! Another Waymo + Uber city launch Important milestone for our partnership, our teams, and most importantly for the city of Atlanta. Autonomous mobility is the future and we're proud to help bring it to the world!

If you think this solves their issues……then you will be mistaken. Even Jim Curtin won’t rectify that roster and other issues. D.C. United needs to return to where they were in the first 12 years of Major League Soccer.

A major step in Uber’s autonomous strategy: • 20K+ Lucid vehicles • Powered by @Nuro’s Level 4 autonomy • Exclusive to Uber • Launching 2026 in a top US city This is scale, technology, and utilization coming together in a way that only can happen on Uber.

Big milestone for Uber last week: Uber + Uber Eats crossed 300 million trips in a single week for the first time, up from ~250 million a year ago. ~900K trips every 30 mins 🤯 Best part is we're just getting started, building on this (remarkable) operational & technical scale

100% agreed with Matthew Holden here, the 15th St bike lane is a vital and safe north-south connection across the Mall between downtown and the Wharf, East Potomac, Virginia, etc Also a great way to avoid being part of traffic when seeing the Cherry Blossoms every year!

Uber Is Quietly Winning the AV Rideshare Setup If 2025 was the proof point that consumers will actually take autonomous rides at scale, 2026 is starting to look like the year the strategic map gets redrawn. For the last few years the AV debate has mostly been framed around who

The Trump administration is removing a protected bike lane that runs along 15th Street from the National Mall to the Tidal Basin. Officials say it causes traffic; bike advocates say it actually makes everyone safer. 51st.news/trump-administ…

Since the 15th St Protected Bike Lane was installed: 📉Crashes dropped 46% 📉Bike injuries dropped 91% Removing the bike lane between Constitution Ave and the Tidal Basin would increase conflicts between pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles at one of the busiest times of year.

Well, it's a little more complicated than that. Current D.C. law requires ride-hailing services to follow some basic rules, including offering commercial liability insurance. Empower doesn't, and has been fighting with regulators in D.C. (and now NYC) for years.
