I think ppl do their child a disservice by not being honest with them. When you look white, you will have a completely different experience from other black people. And not telling them that, will make them blind and insensitive , and whiny.

You can be black and proud all you want. But your physical appearance will literally make your life completely different. A lot of things will not apply to you.

Do other people struggle to see big-budget indie publications as zines?? It feels v much out of the spirit of accesiblity and DIY seeing zines for like £10+ sometimes!! It feels like people are making art books at this point lol
