Ariel Bibas once wrote in Hebrew why he loved Batman: “Because he flies and saves people from the pit.” I wish we could have saved you from the pit, Ariel🕯️💔

The Liberal Party needs to stop kicking candidates out of its leadership race (especially folks of colour) If they wanted to make Carney the Party leader, they could've Instead, they shut down the government for months to run a race they should've held months ago or not at all

Can someone explain to me why the Liberals needed 3 months for a leadership race, but Canada can hold an election in 1?

For some reason, I think watching gay rom-coms will be nice and comforting But watching them is this awful mix of loneliness and secondhand cringe Now I need someone to cuddle with 🥺

For lots of gay guys, the fetishization of younger men isn't just sexual There's an almost parental desire to relive their past vicariously through another person and to fix their mistakes Of course, as with parent-child relationships like that, it inevitably ends in resentment

My opinion on progressive activities has really changed in recent years as the movement has become more toxic It's gone from "you're not helping, but your heart is more or less in the right place" to "this stuff seems pretty mean-spirited and you're doing real damage"

The idea that in the left you can never judge protestors is actually a fairly new post 2010 progressive idea. During the civil rights movement, Fred Hampton, MLK, Malcom X were judging protestors all the time because protesting isn’t about expression it’s about strategy.

And at least half of the folks "1 in 4 Americans" think are Chinese are actually Korean, Taiwanese, and/or Vietnamese
