Re weigh ins The Panel. Oh please get over it and step on. We're so precious about shit that doesn't matter but not for things that actually matter for safety reasons (eg trimming an aircraft correctly). Another symptom of a privileged society.

The parallels with the case of Breaker Morant, over a century earlier, are extraordinary. Then, too, it was the brave ones who spoke up who were essentially the unsung heroes.

In 1972, journalist Austin Mitchell warned us 'big neighbour' was a more powerful force in NZ than ‘big brother’. It was tongue in cheek at the time, but today their influence is no joke. My column for BusinessDesk_NZ: businessdesk.co.nz/article/policy…

Michael Wood owning sweet fuck all shares (1530),isn't really worth the time it's been given. Trying to hide this shareholding isn't worth it at the current share price. #nzpol

With Aussie win, and BLACKCAPS before that, clearly the most versatile cricket teams are down here. India can bully at home but overseas...crumble. Esp when it's cold.

They are both. Property, other than what you live in, is a business interest in all but name. Needs to be declared. One just pays off more in this case. The rules need to remain black and white, not judged on relativity.

It’s not credible to say the new public transport discounts are destined to fail. Most councils will roll out on time, we just need a few more weeks in Wellington and we’re open about that. Simeon Brown quotes me here, but has never talked to me about Wellington public transport.

National's agricultural emissions policy is a sham and contains one of the most damaging of all declarations of climate denial newsroom.co.nz/pro/no-no-no-n…

"Overall, our ag emissions are six times greater per capita than the global average – all to feed, supposedly, 40 million people, just 0.5 percent of the world's population." A deeply worrying analysis from Rod Oram. When we fail our binding commitment, who picks up the tab? 😬

The central problem with any such debate involving a real scientist is that Joe Rogan's audience is sooooo dumb (& so statistically unsophisticated) that they will never figure out who won the argument.
