As a white middle aged man, I’m getting really tired of these insults. Think maybe I’ll cancel my standing order for your license fee. Why should I pay for a liberal self-hating, leftist infested institution anymore? One that takes my money while despising me?

We want a society where people are free to make choices, to make mistakes, to be generous and compassionate. This is what we mean by a moral society; not a society where the state is responsible for everything, and no one is responsible for the state.

I've just noticed the Halal approved logo on the loaf I bought yesterday. Why? I'm never buying your bread again. I will not help you contribute to Islam. Warburtons

Never underestimate common sense and intuition. You will almost always be right over 'experts' which is, I agree, I ironic. Someone bogges down in details can't see the big picture so well - the big picture and end results are all that matters. Everything else is noise.

So, no sperm, no sandwiches, no planes, no drugs, now no Grand National. I await the next nonsense. No boat race, no Calcutta Cup & no cup final Amazing what the London bourgeoisie believe.

Just in case you’re also tempted to get it wrong, state spending last year in Scotland £13.4bn higher than total taxes collected = a budget deficit of 8% GDP, four times U.K. deficit and probably highest in EU.

Office for Budget Responsibility made its first post-Brexit vote forecasts in Nov 2016. It said deficit would £68.2bn in 2016-17. It was £46bn. Forecast £59bn in 2017-18. It was £39bn. Said 2018/19 deficit would be £46bn. Likely to be closer to £30bn. Pretty big margins of error

Behold the sudden stop. Emerging markets maturity wall. Why do countries with monetary sovereignty issue most debt in foreign currency, ignoring MMT magic ideas? They can't. Domestic savers and foreign investors reject local currency bonds knowing states will constantly devalue
