vitalik.eth Anders Elowsson 🌻 Algorand's consensus model is based on Byzantine Agreements, guaranteeing instant finality. As soon as a block is created and certified (~2.8s), all transactions in the block are final and cannot be reversed. There is no slashing or other economic disincentives needed.
