Great visit to Droylsden Academy today. Met the inspirational Angela Rayner. Heard some amazing students and caught up with Teach First ambassadors at this brilliant school. Thank you to Ed and Georgina for inviting us in a nurturing the next generation of teachers and students.

We're proud to mark 10 years working in partnership with leading global law firm @Ashurst, and to collaborate with them on their Access Ashurst work experience programme, which aims to increase access to law professions for young people from lower socio-economic backgrounds.

I fulfilled a long held ambition today and visited The Willow, led by Dawn Ferdinand. Amazing place and one of our long standing partners. Member of the 2012 cohort still teaching there.

NEWS: Congratulations to @Reuben_Moore who has been awarded an MBE in the King's Birthday Honours list. Reuben has spent more than 25 years in teaching and teacher education, supporting teachers at every stage in their career, particularly in areas of disadvantage.

It’s our ‘Hub’ day today, where trainees gather in their regions after a week in school last week. I’m in London and it is great to see the enthusiasm and energy of the hundreds of trainees.
