Loch Ness, Sept 1976. Complete with my school parka to keep out the chill. I didn’t appreciate a week on the Lochs & Caledonian Canal as a 15 year old. it was the first of over 30 visits to the West Highlands in subsequent years. Next visit planned for Dec.

A glorious autumn day at SJP, Exeter. Hopefully it will lift my mood, there seems to be a big black cloud hovering over me for the past week. A issue that has nothing to do with me making is make me feel ill. This seems to be my zen place at the moment. Have a good weekend

1987 (26) & 2025 (64) in Alvor, Algarve, Portugal. Although I was under the weather for a few reasons, the visit last week with the sunshine all week banished my autumn blues 😎

The Damned at Exeter Routes, 4th June 1979 I see the top of my head in the photo 😁 It must be the encore. Rat on vocals, Algy on drums, Capt Sensible in his pants. Dave Vanian with warm up one man band ‘Aunty Pus’ It was a mad gig, but great sweaty fun.

Exactly 36 years ago. Jeez where does the time go ? I was back in work the next day ! No paternity leave back then. Just as well to work because first time mums were kept in for at least 5 days back then. I visited in the evenings. Strict visiting hours back then in the daytime.

Nearly 40 years ago ! Saw quite a few away games, the season when there were no away wins all season A regular group on the coach, good lads all around the same age as me. Drove a minibus a couple of times due to lack of numbers for a coach. I could not do it now !

A great few days over Christmas period doing a bit of walking around Fort William The fresh clean crisp air did us both good. We try to get here once a year. It’s 1,100 mile round trip drive, but worth it.

A great photo of your Director of Football at Orient Lee Swallow Taken when he was a 16 year old apprentice at Exeter City. He made his 1st team debut at 16. A surprise that a talented East End lad ended up in Devon with the amount of clubs in the South East
