Heading to Boston for a great MSTCA clinic! It’s wonderful to see coaching clinics include mental health/disordered eating in their list of topics. Coaches deserve to have this info. Even as an athlete who had an ED, there was much more to learn as a coach. Knowledge is power!

Looking forward to 3x30min sessions on mental health/eating disorders in athletes this afternoon for ADs at IHSADA ! Everyone has an important role in athletics to address this stigmatized and prevalent issue, and ADs can make a difference.

Thank you @ASCA for helping us to highlight a piece of the sporting world that has been hidden for too long: eating disorders in athletes. It was an honor to speak with coaches about what is happening behind closed doors and how we can make a difference in the lives of athletes!

Post Running in Silence presentation thoughts from our coach attendees... and we couldn’t agree more! It’s time to break the stigma, and be loud about what coaches and athletic staff need so that fewer athletes are left swimming, running, jumping ... competing in silence.

Thank you Scott Garvis C.M.A.A. and NHSACA for helping us to address eating disorders in athletes. It's important to speak about what it's like to struggle, and what steps we can take to address these widespread issues. Coaches and athletic directors can make a difference!
