No matter how this turns out, the closeness of this election affirms that America is a racist country—period. Most white people in America could care less about integrity, morality, character, equality, liberty, or justice, only about preserving white supremacy. #ElectionNight

Now that Biden won, watch me not wear his name on my hat and not put a giant Biden flag on my truck and drive around with it for 4 years like a fucking weirdo.

Pro-Trump protesters carrying flags march through the Capitol building, chanting "we want Trump," forcing a lockdown with members of Congress inside. abcn.ws/3pTKfuT

If you don't know the difference between people protesting police brutality/hundreds of years of racism and people storming the Capitol of the United States to disrupt the certification of an election b/c of a conspiracy theory the PRESIDENT OF THE US created, I can't help you

Many Trump supporters have been preparing for a violent clash for months. Gun purchases spiked. I’ve talked to MAGA voters who have collected weapons, worried about a Civil War. This was utterly predictable. Trump knew that when he encouraged the mob to walk to the Capitol today.

I covered a lot of BLM protests in D.C. last year (tear gassed several times, hit with a rubber bullet) and the difference here in terms of the police response to property damage and violence is astounding.

I was at the major #BlackLivesMatter protest in DC that was 100% peaceful and yet there was a literal army of law enforcement, including national guard and unmarked federal agents with guns no matter where you turned. Where are they now?
