The Elks open their 20-game SCAHL regular season Nov. 6 in Lacombe against the Central Alberta Selects.

Elks 3 Central Alberta Selects 0 Goaltenders Meyer Gaume and Josh Hilts combined for a 27-save shutout as the Elks blanked the Selects in SCAHL exhibition play in Lacombe tonight. Jordan Siwak, Ivan Filappov and Jacob Shorey, with an empty-netter, scored for the Elks.
