I spent the last week in #Ukraine (during #WorldRefugeeDay2025) where I saw the impacts of war & mass displacement firsthand. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. There are 123M forcibly displaced people across the globe, including over 47M children. We continue to stand with them.

The U.S.' recent announcement to terminate its $2.6B commitment to Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance could result in 75M children not getting vaccinated, resulting in over 1M deaths. Yesterday, Project HOPE's Dr. Mithqal spoke with CBS News about the airstrike on our health clinic in Deir al Balah in #Gaza which killed 15 civilians, including 10 children as they lined up for care.  This senseless violence must end now! Civilians should never be a target!

The deliberate targeting of an ambulance is a stark reminder of the risks frontline health workers face every day in #Ukraine. Attacks on ambulances are a grave violation of International Humanitarian Law, & endanger the lives of medical personnel and civilians!
