Our parks are again going to be vitally important to get us through the coming weeks. Time outside in a green space, (even if just for a short windy walk!) helps us stay well physically and mentally. Let’s cherish our local parks in Bristol and Bath.💚🌳 #LoveYourPark

Clear signs of conservation activity going on Friends of Royate Hill LNR nature reserve. Great views of Bristol, unexpected goats and bizarre sculpture at the Moon Temple on offer. Also saw a massive fox🦊. #Lockdown3

We'll be on BBC Radio Bristol tomorrow morning around 8.30am. @gbankbirds will be talking to James Hanson about how the increase in visitors to our nature reserve has affected the site over last year. Do tune in if you can.

Are you going to visit the park this half term? Remember to #BringYourBoots! The weather and number of visitors in parks is starting to cause damage to the ground. Parks staff are working to protect nature and you can do your bit by wearing the right footwear.

We've got a little Easter Trail going on over the Easter holidays. If you fancy coming along, it starts at the Greenbank View entrance of the nature reserve.

When the idea was first suggested back in 2018, we never realised what a huge effort it would be to get these two new interpretation panels funded, designed, manufactured and then installed on the reserve. It's great to see them finally in place.

Save the bees! (but which ones?) Contrary to a popular belief, adding more honeybees is not the answer to pollinator declines. In fact, it may do more harm than good. buglife.org.uk/blog/save-the-…
