Building Better AI Agents: The Memory Management Challenge In 2025, AI agents are transforming how we work—but every Agent also needs a memory layer. That's why we're excited to share our latest blog on managing short-term and long-term memory with Redis.

Prompt caching is the new database caching. Redis is perfect for prompt caching with our vector database, redisVL Python client and coming soon: Langcache

Jony Ive and OpenAI’s partnership is a big vote of confidence in San Francisco. Our city has a strong history of creativity and innovation, a legacy that is alive and well today. This is the place to create the future.

Spent the last few weeks working closely with @rickrubin on his latest project: The Way of Code. Incredibly proud of our tiny team for helping bring Rick's vision to life and creating such a beautiful experience with Claude to augment it.

Sonnet-4 is FAR BETTER than Sonnet 3.7. Huge upgrade Anthropic Big productivity gains for developers with less distractibility and better outcomes. 3.7 was the king for a long time, but once on 4.0 you'll never go back.

Anthropic adding 1-hour TTL prompt caching! Turns out prompt caching LLM's makes sense and is critical Look at Redis langcache so you can implement this in your own agents and platforms. redis.io

new project: cleo (kindle + llm) 📚 cleo is an ios app that pairs whatever book you're reading on kindle with an llm (o3) — ask questions, get recaps/summaries, or listen/discuss (think audiobooks but interactive). the llm has context on exactly where you are + the book

Woke up early this Sunday in San Francisco. The streets are empty, fog hanging low. Dead silent except for Waymos gliding through the mist like sharks in the quiet. The future doesn’t knock, it just shows up.

As devs get automated with agents, we will have to automate dev managers: the job involves coordinating a bunch of devs in a single code base so that don’t step on each others toes all the time And: * finding out who broke the build and shaming them 😂 * resolving developer
