1/2 Yesterday’s speaker was Tyren Frazier. He is the Executive Director of the Chesterfield Education Foundation. They work to support Chesterfield County Public schools teachers and students. There are over 61,000 children in 64 schools located throughout the county.

2/2 Last year they provided $25,000 to multiple teachers at multiple schools so that teachers would be able to do special projects with their students and not have to spend there own money to be able to do these projects

Join South Richmond Rotary Thurs. 10/18 for our weekly meeting. Our speaker will be Frank Gupton, Ph.d. He is a professor at VCU and his research is focused mostly on the development of new technologies that will stream like organic synthesis.

Thursday’s speaker was Dr.Frank Gupton from VCU. His research group has received the 2nd largest amount of funding from the Gates Foundation for their research. Their overall goal is to streamline the process of chemical reactions by using novel chemistry.

(1/2)Thursdays speaker was Sherry Sharp from the Rick Sharp Foundation. Sherrys husband died at the age of 67 from a rare form posterior cortical atrophy, which is a rare form of Alzheimer’s disease. She has been fundraising by hosting events where 100% of the proceeds go towards
