Morning! 🌞 At a recent screening of BIRDSONG, a lovely man handed me a poem, coincidentally called BIRDSONG! I'd been asked the previous night if I had a favourite bird poem & I scratched my head. It's funny how things pan out at times. Anyway, here it is - it's a lovely piece.

Maybe this could be a use for the aptly named, ‘rainy day fund’.

Birdsong is a truly beautiful & moving production. I hope it will be a staple in Irish schools – not only for its importance in highlighting the wealth of Irish birdlife and how endangered it is, but also to show the wonder of a deep passionate curiosity with the world around us
