People with ADHD NEED straightforward instructions or sentiments. Many of us aren't able to function via "dancing around things" and "hinting at the general idea". It's not that we don't pick up on hints, but without verbal/written confirmation, we will question our perception.

Removing large amounts of stimulation often doesn't help ADHD'ers relax. If anything, this understimulation can make our minds race and make us feel physically uncomfortable. Now tell me this... how are we taught to try to go to sleep? 😬
