Today our Chair, Sir Stephen Hillier, has visited Airbus Helicopters in Oxfordshire to talk about their future plans. A great visit for the UK Civil Aviation Authority to learn how we can work closely with industry to focus on future flight and innovation.

Great to meet Airbus and Rolls-Royce apprentices in Westminster recently. Greater Bristol has a proud aerospace heritage, from the first 'planes and concord to helicopters and satellites. Our world class cluster is now facing the future: net zero electric and hydrogen flight!

With the Industry & Parliament Trust and as Future of Aviation APPG Chair, I was grateful to Airbus Helicopters for the tour of their impressive new Oxford Airport facility and briefing on the company’s military, emergency services, plus civil aviation equipment and maintenance.

Great news! James Cartlidge MP 🇬🇧 🇺🇦 launches the final stage of the UK’s #NMH #NewMediumHelicopter competition at #IMH24. If selected we’ll build the #H175M at #Broughton, reinvigorate the country’s underperforming helicopter industry and export the 🚁 to the 🌍.
