V excited to announce I’ll be heading to the Smithsonian Smithsonian NMNH this autumn on an Arts and Humanities Research Council IPS fellowship! I’ll be exploring Ecuadorian featherwork, supervised by the wonderful Joshua A. Bell and Dr Carla Dove in collab w/ Recovering Voices and the Feather ID Lab - can’t wait!
Finally on my way to Quito, to meet maria patricia and Rosa Dyer and work with Shuar partners and museums in Ecuador to learn about Shuar featherwork collections and finding ways forward w regards to Shuar ancestral remains / tsantsa Pitt Rivers Museum.
really excited for the 'bibliotheca cornubiensis femina’ (library of cornish women) launch on 2nd sept. the bcf is an extensive free catalogue of notable women in cornwall and their works. we'll talk about the website, its goals, and some of women featured on it! The Hypatia Trust
