.Roosevelt HS DC is excited to host an AFS Intercultural Programs exchange student from China this school year! JunYi (Shawn) is looking forward to taking a choir class and learning Spanish.







Yesterday at Nationals Park, five of our Business Management NAF scholars had their 1st meeting for the 2024-25 Washington Nationals NatsPrep program! They had a delicious lunch, listened to an overview of the program, met their mentors, & took a tour of the ballpark.



.Roosevelt HS DC’s CTE programs are hosting 14 students and 2 teachers from Institute Saint-Dominique in Pau, France from October 18th to October 28th. While in DC, the group will shadow their Roosevelt student ambassadors in the morning and visit museums in DC in the afternoon.


Calling all Roosevelt HS DC CTE scholars! Please come to our 1st annual CTE Convocation at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr Library on November 1st from 8:30am to 3:00pm. There will be giveaways, food, & workshops. Please see your CTE teacher to get a field trip form.






Yesterday our Business Management & Global Service & Diplomacy NAF scholars welcomed the Vital Voices Fortune Department of State Global Women’s Mentoring Partnership. The group met with our scholars and took a tour of the building. #EmpowerWomen #FortuneMPW



Our SkillsUSA members are having a great time today during the 1st annual Pathways Day at Garnet-Patterson STAY. Our scholars had the opportunity to explore diverse CTE programs & career paths. One of the highlights was meeting SkillsUSA Executive Director Chelle Travis!
