On March 5, 2026, Governor Senator Uba Sani flagged off the construction of 102 new schools and the renovation of 170 schools and learning centres across Kaduna State’s 23 LGAs under the REACHING OUT-OF-SCHOOL CHILDREN (ROOSC) PROJECT Project. #WorkingForKaduna

Numbers Out-of-school children have dropped from 550,000 to 187,720 in two years, with a target of zero within the next year. The Governor also highlighted 62 new secondary schools completed and 50 more under development. #WorkingForKaduna

On World Water Day, we highlight the importance of safe and accessible water for all. Access to clean water directly impacts health, school attendance, and learning outcomes. Creating safe school environments, advocating for improved water, sanitation, and hygiene facilities.

The ROOSC PMU continues to foster system strengthening by hosting members of the Technical Working Group (TWG) to its quarterly meeting. The discussion focused on major achievements of the last quarter, challenges and mitigate steps as well as plans for the next quarter.
