Great reminder yesterday from Scottsdale Bible Church. You cannot find peace from some pragmatic exercise. Peace comes from God. Period.

I do not have the power to change the circumstances of the cancer my wife carries, but I do have a choice to allow it to change me.

Learning to focus on what God has done vs what He might have done. Knowing what He's done shows me what He will do and how he will act.

2 Corinthians 6:3-12. When Christ is at the center the challenges become confirmation Christ is doing a work in you.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe. (Prov. 18:10). Thankful for His strength & safe refuge.

Hanging on to the Lord truth of His Presence, power and provisions keeps me centered in the chaos of emotions and uncertainty.

Death is the beginning of new life. New life for the one who passes and new life for the ones left behind. Life n the full for all n Christ!

The level to which someone has loved and is loved increases the level of sorrow in the suffering. Such love. Such sorrow. Such a Savior!
