I enjoyed visiting the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth yesterday. The staff is wonderful! They work with Scioto County Public Library to enroll newborns in Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Ohio. Every baby enrolled in Imagination Library at birth will enter kindergarten with 60 FREE books at home.

There are 1,100 households in the North Moreland without power. Power is not expected to be restored until at least 7:30. New Boston Mayor Junior Williams has authorized the opening of the Community Center in the Village for anyone without power that needs to stay warm.
