PS He did NOT appreciate vet trying to take his temperature 'up the back alley' - if you heard the yowls out of him. Vet had to call in a nurse because I couldn't hold him. 🙈🙈🙈

GEORGE UPDATE (for those who care). Vet says he likely had 'an altercation' with another cat. Mortified - my well-brought up boy, scrapping with a stray Tom. Slight temperature, so vet gave him 2 jabs and sent us home with meds. He seems fine. Still eating for Ireland. 🙈🙈

Poor George is out of sorts. No injury that I can see, and he's eating, but hasn't got his usual bounce, tail down when he came in, and looked a little uncomfortable when he was settling down for his nap earlier. I'll keep an eye.
