Over half of GPNs received no pay rise at all last year. Now 2% cap on anything this year. Recruitment to GPN roles is becoming more challenging as nurses cannot afford to swap to these t+c . Spoke to a new GPN today who has had an accident. Unable to work. No sick pay.

Nursing in Practice Katie Bramall-Stainer 2/ 93% of want their contracts standardised. They need their hourly pay, sick pay, maternity pay and holiday pay to match NHS colleagues on Agenda for change contracts. Only 6% of registered nurses have received any salary increases. ( NiP 2021, 2022)
