I have a distinct memory of MGS3 releasing on PS2. I'd done a night shift and at 4 or 5am and we went to a 24 hour pool place till stores open. Get there at 9am saying "have you got it?" like he knew I meant MGS3, I get it, bus home, start playing, fall asleep 2 hours later lol.

I totally forgot European Extreme was a thing because we had to wait so long for it to come here. Over 20 years later and there's still nothing like these games. Loving streaming this to my Odin2 Portal from my PC!

Much like Ori and the Blind Forest where I didn't love that game but I loved Will of the Wisps, I didn't love Hollow Knight but I loved Silksong. It does have weird stubborn design decisions and too much to analyse for a tweet but it's a mammoth metroidvania that gets a lot right

I really like the themes in the Citadel in Silksong. I wanted to look at covering Songclave and expand it into Choral Chambers, but for now I've just covered Songclave. Really the soundtrack to Silksong is quite captivating.

Can't believe it's pushing nearly 3 years since I properly released something. It's a weird thing to reflect on and I've not felt that sense of elation and depression as you finish a large project in ages. Happy it's done but sad that it's over. This is the year for GRIME 2.
