We are close to wrapping up and releasing a major update to rockd app. Better accessibility and backend components are the focus, but more updates to come!

Sweet. I had intro students use this as part of weekly homework the last time I taught intro geology. It helped when everyone went home in March 2020 - students could connect to the geology no matter where they were, and give me enough context to answer questions.

Some big new updates to Macrostrat's web map this morning (v4.1). Most excitingly, we have added a preview of structural line symbols, which make the map much more satisfying and expressive for structural geology! Very preliminary, but awesome. macrostrat.org/map/changelog
