When we talk about #lying with our kids we need to tread carefully. A punitive environment can foster dishonesty. Emphasizing the benefits of telling the truth is significantly more effective at promoting honesty than stressing the negative consequences of lying. #SelfReg

This morning there was a water main break outside of Kent Road School and the school is currently without water. A temporary supply of water is in the process of being supplied by the city of Winnipeg. Parents and caregivers were informed via School Messenger this morning.

Students will be supported by remote learning today. Please contact the school office with any questions!
